KinkBound Featuring Orpheus Black Live in Colorado
EXPLORING THE ETHOS OF KINK, INTIMACY, SHADOW, AND SPIRITUAL EMBODIMENT.
Join us for KinkBound, a two-part Colorado event featuring a live Friday demonstration and an intimate weekend immersion exploring power, consent, embodiment, and conscious kink.
FRIDAY EVENING
THE EXPERIENCE
An evening with Orpheus Black.
Watch one of the world's most respected kink educators do what he does best.
Through a live professional scene.
Witness Orpheus in real time...the negotiation, the power exchange, the psychology, the nervous system, the moments most people never get a chance to feel.
The evening concludes with a live panel where you'll have the opportunity to ask questions, explore the philosophy behind the work, and deepen your understanding of conscious kink.
Whether you're simply curious, active in the kink community, or a practitioner wanting to better understand the world your clients may already inhabit...
This is a rare opportunity to witness and engage while decades of mastery unfold in real time.
Over three days, Orpheus guides a smaller group through the foundations of conscious kink.
Power.
Trust.
Communication.
Presence.
Consent.
Containment.
You'll explore the principles that make kink transformative long before a rope is tied or a flogger is picked up.
The weekend also includes guided experiential learning across a range of practices, always grounded in consent, choice, and respect for your boundaries.
Whether you're a practitioner wanting to expand your capacity, or someone exploring your own relationship with power, desire, and embodiment... This weekend offers something that's increasingly rare.
The chance to learn directly from a master.

ABOUT
ORPHEUS BLACK
For over two decades Orpheus Black has explored the intersection of poly, BDSM, kink, fetish, and spirituality.
Along with martial arts, meditation, and zen practices he has aquired the skills and knowledge to create a safe space for exploration, mentor, train, educate, and support people to discover the shadow side of their sacred sexuality.
Part spiritual therapist, part bedroom sorcerer, and all bad ass.
Orpheus Black is a Los Angeles-based public speaker, teacher, thought leader, and somatic visionary who specializes in the application of ancient wisdom in modern day settings.
Known widely for his dynamic sexcraft and ear perking shows, Orpheus is perhaps distinguished from his peers by his caliber of showmanship and polish in front of a crowd. He’s a rare pedigree expert, who regularly demonstrates his prowess and intelligence from on-stage, in broadcast television, and in up-close and intimate classes.
Through his continued efforts, Orpheus aims to propel the intellectual and sensual evolution of masculinity both by challenging men to reconnect with its roots and by inviting them to embrace manhood in its fullness, the way strong modern men wish it to be. In this role, he shares insights, offers tools, and speaks against societal norms of shame and repression. He does it all with the earnestness of a therapist, the knowledge of a guru, and the charisma of a stage performer too.

✦ Frequently Asked Questions ✦
❖ Who is KinkBound for?
KinkBound is for the kink-curious, experienced lifestylers, practitioners, educators, and professionals who want to explore power, intimacy, embodiment, and the craft of BDSM more deeply.
You may be walking into your first kink event or bringing decades of experience into the room. Both belong here.
❖ I’m brand new to kink. Will I be completely out of my depth?
KinkBound is designed so you can enter at your own level. You can listen, witness, ask questions, experiment within your own boundaries, and learn from people with very different levels of experience.
No experience is required. Curiosity is enough.
❖ I’ve been practicing kink for years. Is there really something here for me?
Absolutely. Experienced practitioners and professionals return because KinkBound goes beyond learning another technique. The deeper study is presence, containment, power, decision-making, responsiveness, scene construction, and what becomes possible as you develop your own style.
Sometimes the most useful thing an experienced practitioner can encounter is another master's way of seeing.
❖ Is this a space for professionals in the field?
Yes. Historically, roughly a third of the room has been made up of practitioners, educators, facilitators, and other professionals in adjacent fields.
They are also some of the people who return year after year. There is value in learning beside beginners, peers, and people whose approach is radically different from your own.
❖ Is KinkBound LGBTQIA+ inclusive?
Absolutely. KinkBound welcomes people across genders, bodies, sexual orientations, identities, roles, and expressions. There is no single way a dominant, submissive, switch, kinky person, queer person, trans person, straight person, or curious person is supposed to look. Come as yourself.
❖ What relationship structures are welcome?
All of them. Monogamous, polyamorous, ethically non-monogamous, partnered, dating, solo, single, married, figuring-it-out… you belong in the room.
KinkBound is interested in how humans navigate power, desire, consent, intimacy, and embodiment. You do not need a particular relationship structure to explore those questions.
❖ Can I come by myself? Do I need a partner to participate in the weekend?
Many people attend solo. You are equally welcome to come alone, with a partner, partners, friends, or members of your community. The weekend is built around learning, witnessing, conversation, and facilitated experience, so you do not need to arrive with a partner.
❖ What is the difference between Friday night and the full KinkBound weekend?
Friday evening is the public live experience featuring Orpheus Black and Lady Sokha. You come to witness experienced practitioners work together in real time and see the depth, responsiveness, and construction of an actual scene.
The weekend immersion goes much further. It creates room for teaching, conversation, experiential practice, integration, and direct access to multiple skilled facilitators and perspectives.
Friday lets you witness the work. The weekend lets you get inside the questions underneath it.
❖ Can I attend only Friday evening?
Yes. Friday evening has its own ticket and is designed to stand alone as a complete experience. You can simply come, sit back, and witness.
❖ Will I have to participate in a scene?
No. Friday evening is a live demonstration. Your role is simply to witness.
Throughout the larger KinkBound experience, everything presented is an invitation. You remain responsible for your own yes, your own no, your own boundaries, and your own level of participation.
Watching is participation. Asking questions is participation. Choosing to sit something out is participation.
❖ Can I change my mind once something has started?
Yes. Consent is active and ongoing. You can decline, pause, renegotiate, or change your mind. A yes belongs to the moment in which it is given.
❖ Who is Orpheus Black?
Orpheus Black is a professional Dominant, educator, performer, and longtime practitioner with more than 25 years of experience exploring BDSM, power exchange, eroticism, spirituality, and the psychological architecture of kink.
His work is known for its depth, precision, presence, elemental play, and ability to work with what is actually alive in the room.
❖ What will Orpheus be demonstrating?
You will witness live Dom/sub dynamics unfold in real time, with particular attention to presence, power, precision, containment, responsiveness, and the full arc of a scene.
The point is bigger than seeing a collection of techniques. You get to watch how an experienced Dominant reads another human being, makes decisions, adjusts, intensifies, contains, and responds to what emerges.
❖ Is Friday night a performance or a teaching?
Both. The scene itself is real. So is the opportunity to learn from what you are witnessing. You will see the artistry and erotic charge of live power exchange while gaining insight into the choices, philosophy, and structure underneath it.
❖ Will Orpheus demonstrate every skill listed for the event?
The scene will be created in real time. What unfolds depends upon the dynamic between Orpheus and the demo bottom/submissive, what is alive in the moment, and where the scene naturally wants to go. That responsiveness is part of what you are coming to witness.
❖ Will I get an opportunity to ask Orpheus questions?
Yes. KinkBound includes opportunities to engage with the facilitators, ask questions, explore the philosophy underneath the practice, and hear how experienced practitioners think through the work.
That access is one of the richest parts of the weekend.
❖ What is fireplay?
Fireplay uses controlled flame as a form of sensation, ritual, eroticism, and embodied experience. In Orpheus's work, elemental play can carry meaning far beyond sensation alone. Fire can become atmosphere, symbolism, intensity, purification, devotion, memory.
Fireplay involves real flame and carries real risk.
Skilled practitioners use careful protocols, appropriate materials, preparation, environmental awareness, and emergency precautions to manage that risk. Witnessing advanced work at KinkBound gives you an opportunity to see the level of craft, judgment, and responsibility underneath intensity.
❖ Is KinkBound about pushing my limits?
KinkBound is interested in edges, intensity, choice, and capacity. A more interesting question than “How far can I go?” is: What happens inside me as intensity rises, and can I remain present enough to choose? That inquiry belongs to Dominants, submissives, switches, curious beginners, and seasoned practitioners alike.
❖ How does consent work at KinkBound?
Consent is explicit, ongoing, and personal. Arousal does not equal consent. Curiosity does not equal consent. Someone else's enthusiasm does not create an obligation for you. Ask. Listen. Respect the answer. Every person in the room retains the right to make a different choice as new information emerges.
❖ What if I would rather observe than participate?
Witnessing is a legitimate way to learn kink. You can learn an enormous amount by watching how someone establishes connection, reads a body, handles uncertainty, responds to intensity, repairs a misstep, makes an adjustment, or chooses to stop.
❖Will everyone in the room have the same approach to kink?
Definitely not, and that is part of the value. KinkBound brings together different levels of experience, identities, roles, philosophies, techniques, and approaches to power.
You are invited to encounter those perspectives, test them against your own experience, and continue developing a way of practicing that genuinely belongs to you.
❖Is KinkBound confidential? Can I take photos or record?
Privacy matters here.
What someone shares about themselves inside the room belongs to them. Please do not identify, photograph, film, record, or post another participant or their experience without their explicit consent.
You are welcome to share your own experience afterward. Let everyone else remain the author of theirs.
❖ Is KinkBound a sober event?
Yes. KinkBound is a 100% sober container. Please arrive free from alcohol and recreational intoxicants and remain substance-free during event hours.
We are exploring consent, power, sensation, intensity, and nervous-system response. Clear choice and clear communication matter.
❖What if I use prescription medication?
Take prescribed medication as directed by your healthcare provider. The sobriety agreement concerns recreational intoxication and impairment. If a medication affects your ability to participate safely in a particular activity, choose the level of participation that supports clear consent and good judgment.
❖ What is the refund or transfer policy?
KinkBound is a small, intentionally capped experience, so cancellations have a real impact on the event.
Please review the ticket terms when purchasing. If your plans change, contact the KinkBound team as early as possible to discuss any transfer options available for your ticket, we do not offer refunds.
❖ Why KinkBound? Why come back if I’ve attended before?
Because kink is a living practice.
A different partner changes the scene. A different room changes the scene. Ten more years in your own body changes what you notice. Another practitioner's philosophy reveals something your own training may never have shown you.
KinkBound gives beginners somewhere intelligent to begin and experienced practitioners somewhere worthy of continuing. Come curious.
❖ Who is this event for?
Lifestylers, professionals, and curious students...anyone interested in kink, power dynamics, and embodied practice.
